Do you know the actual size of Olympic swimming pool in meter square?
Neither do I.
But one thing is for sure, it’s QUITE BIG.
And when I’m dreaming about my future sewing room I sometimes like to imagine a sewing room the size of an Olympic swimming pool.
The question is, will that be too big? I just hope I don’t get tired walking from one end to another. That’ll be a bummer!
I have lots of plans for my future sewing room.
But for now I have settled for a small sewing nook with a big table for everything.
You CAN get started with sewing, with just ONE table. Really. I’ve done it and I’m still doing it. Though, I have expanded a bit to use a small bookshelf to store my fabric stash.
All these days I had been using a small sewing table, but I had a lot of trouble while recording videos and taking pictures for tutorials so I had to upgrade to a bigger one which is now 130cm x 90cm. But that’s only to make it easier to take pictures. It’s definitely not compulsory.
You CAN start sewing with just a small table and sewing machine right away.
In this post I have listed down some cheap sewing tables that you can choose from that will cost you less than a $100.
