10. The Turnabout Pouch
I just love the leather and fabric combo on this one.
To make 1 x Turnabout Pouch you will need:
– 1/4 Yard exterior fabric
– 1/4 Yard lining fabric
– Leather/Vinyl measuring 5″ W x 8″ L
– 1/4 Yard fusible fleece (H640)
– 1/4 Yard iron on mid weight interfacing
– 3 eyelets small size 1/4″
– 1 x 13″ length long pull (Handbag) zipper #5
– Eyelet setting tools, leather hole punch, fray stop (for eyelet holes)
11. Poppy Pouch
This is a cute little circular pouch which I think would be perfect for storing coins.
This pouch comes in 3 different sizes:
- Large: Base 8.5″ x 4.5″, width 10.5″, Height 6.5″
- Medium:Base 7.5″ x 4″, Width 9.5″, Height 5.5″
- Small: Base 6.5″ x 3.5″, Width 8.5, Height 4.5″
Here are the materials you would be needing for this pencil pouch sewing pattern:
- Long Pull Handbag Zipper (#5 or #4.5) 24″, 22″ or 18″

12. Rabbit Zipper Pouch
I’ve normally seen a 2-D version but never a 3-D version like this. It looks so REAL! Just love it.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 5 & 1/2″ long, 3 & 1/4″ wide, 2 & 3/4″ tall (14cm x 8cm x 7cm)
Materials for rabbit zippered pouch sewing tutorial:
- 2 coordinating fat quarters, Pellon Wonder Web, fusible interfacing, 6″ or longer zipper, 2 buttons, thread
13. Shark Pouch
Perfect for the shark lovers!
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 4 inches wide by 6 inches long
Things you will need:
- 1/4 yard, fat quarter or scrap fabric for main body; 1/4 yard, fat quarter or scrap fabric for lining; 1/4 yard, fat quarter or scrap fabric for fin and belly accents; 9 inches of medium (1/2 inch) size ric rac; Embroidery floss
14. 3 ring binder Zip Pouch
Final Sizing:
- Capacity area of the pouch is 9.5″ by 5″
Supplies:
- 1/4 yard of fabric
- scrap of Peltex 70, ultra firm stabilizer
- 9″ or longer zipper
You Will Also Need:
- Dritz Large Eyelet Kit comes with everything you need to install the grommets
- 1/4″ hole punch
15. Filigree Double-Zip Pouches
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- {small – 8″ x 5-1/2″ x 3-1/2″}
- {medium – 10-1/2″ x 8″ x 3-1/2″}
- {large – 12″ x 8-1/2″ x 3-1/2″}
Materials:
- 1/2 yard of Exterior Fabric (if using ribbon I suggest using a small or solid print, which will make the ribbon stand out)
- Two different fat quarters for the lining
- 18″ x 26″ piece of foam interfacing (By Annie’s Soft and Stable, Pellon Flex Foam, or Bosal In-R-Form)
- Two zippers, I suggest two different colors (small – 9″; medium – 12″; large – 12″) *regular 3# zippers should be used here – the zipper tape should be slightly more than 7/8″ wide
16. Evan Pencil Case
Finished Measurements/Sizing:
- RED DOTTED PENCIL CASE : 8″ WIDTH X 2 3/4″ HEIGHT X 2 3/4″ DEPTH (APPROX.)
- YELLOW AND FLOWERED PENCIL CASE: 9″ WIDTH X 2 1/4″ HEIGHT X 3″ DEPTH (APPROX.)
